Texas A&M associate head swim coach Tanica Jamison will dive into the spotlight Thursday when she appears on “Wheel of Fortune.”
She was chosen to participate in May 2016 while in North Carolina for a swim meet. Jamison taped the episode in October and has had to guard how she did since then.
“I did this for my girls,” she told A&M newspaper The Eagle. “And I also thought it would be a great story to tell my kids some day. But my students’ minds have been running wild. I haven’t been able to disclose any information.”

Jamison has worked for A&M for six years. She expressed that she wants to inspire her team by her example.
“I did this for my girls. We want our girls to live their lives to the fullest potential and live their dreams,” she said. “This was one of my dreams, and it came true.”
